From a life-changing accident to Paralympic medallist, Lucy's journey is a story of resilience, determination and discovering what's possible.

Everything changed in an instant.
Shortly after completing her final year of university, Lucy was involved in a motorbike accident that left her paralysed from the chest down. Faced with rebuilding her future she discovered a determination she never knew she possessed.

One Introduction Changed Everything
During rehabilitation, Lucy was introduced to wheelchair tennis by Paralympic legend Pete Norfolk OBE.

What began as a way to stay active quickly became a passion. A few years later, she was representing Great Britain.

Whether mentoring young athletes, championing inclusion, or sharing her experiences with audiences around the world, Lucy is passionate about helping others recognise their potential and overcome barriers.

Through her work with the Youth Sport Trust and Bright Ideas for Tennis, Lucy helps young people build confidence, resilience and ambition, while championing greater accessibility and inclusion within sport. Lucy believes that everyone should have the opportunity to discover what they are capable of, regardless of the challenges they face.
